AISC Awards Evening Report
AISC Awards Evening Report
By Vinod Patel
This was a postponed event from last year when Auckland was under the harshest control of lockdown under Covid. I wanted to get it out of the way before any further strict controls were imposed due to Covid. Numbers were light, only about 90 people, but there was something to celebrate. The Sports Club had not had gathering for some time, and it was important that we started moving and meeting again. The dinner before-hand was well received.
The Division 3 Women’s won their AHA Championship. They were by far the best team in that grade scoring 101 goals in the season and conceding only 3 goals, most often without a goal-keeper. Men’s QBT A and B teams won their various grades. The B team won their game in normal time, but the A team had to go to a shot out.
