AISC SGM/AGM Update
Hello There!
We’re thrilled to share some exciting new changes from our Special General Meeting (SGM) and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 24th of November 2024.
This year’s meeting started with a Special General Meeting that was held before our AGM, to discuss and vote by the members present on streamlining the historic AISC Executive team which consisted of 21 members to a new Executive Leadership structure of 8 members with defined roles to help drive accountability and better outcomes for the club and our community.
During the SGM, the benefits of the new proposed leadership structure were discussed in detail on the below key points;
Each Director will oversee a portfolio and will be tasked to deliver outcomes over a 2-year term to provide consistency and continuity
The executive team's strategic focus is on achieving the club's short- and long-term objectives.
Streamlining and simplifying the current management structure
The SGM/AGM meeting had an exceptional turnout to the meeting with close to 50 members including Life Members in attendance, following the SGM presentation the proposed structure went to a vote where the proposed change had a 98% majority vote in support from the members in attendance.

Starting in 2025, we will roll out a structured timetable of updates, ensuring all members are informed of operational updates and strategic initiatives.

Our new leadership team have already kicked into action and is looking for key strategies and initiatives to elevate AISC’s operations, services, and overall member experience.
