Finance and Fundraising

Many members of the public appreciate and understand the work
charitable organisations do in the community for the benefit of
members of the public and it is a nice and fitting way to donate gifts or
even leave bequests to AISC. Members may choose to give donations,
long term assets or make other gifts to the Club both during their
lifetime and via their estates or trusts when they pass away.
This provides an everlasting memory of that benefactor, that will stay
in the public arena during their lifetime and also long past his/her
passing away.
It also recognises the efforts that AISC puts into fostering community
bonds that last a lifetime and active promotion of health and fitness
among junior, youth and senior by participation in competitive (or not
so competitive) sport and recreation. This encourages youth to balance
their life, spend quality time playing sports and recreation.
As we have stated in earlier years, AISC’s aim is to reach $2,500,000
in reserves so that income generated from this can be used to foster
junior hockey, coaching and development plans at junior, youth and
senior levels and ultimately provide coaching academies to produce
national and international representative players and maintain very
competitive teams. AISC will also provide for social hockey players.
Once a Clubroom facility with turf home base has been secured these
donors/sponsors will be honoured on an appropriately constructed
honours board together with a Wall of Fame for NZ representatives.
