History Book Update #3
This book is proceeding along steadily. However, the book still lacks player member story telling. A few member names come to mind such as Ravi Patel, who played a big part in coaching/playing and arranging all presentations of club awards also as captain. Chandu Patel as President and running and organising club bar facilities etc - these were integral parts of running a successful club. Hari Bhana who has spent a great deal of his sporting life looking after a number of club requirements, building Seaside Park and without seeking any club recognition, he put in countless hours for the club’s wellbeing. Beena Bhana who has been one of the longest playing members serving the club, who most certainly have a few good memories to share. Also, Roshni Keshaw as a manager and organiser of ladies tournament teams; will want to share some special memories, which will make a more interesting read. All this will add a good deal of personal touch which is what is still needed to make this book a better read. I would also appreciate to learn about any other prominent club member stories which will not only be historical record but personal as well. I am hoping that the club members get behind this request as it’s importance will be recognised in its readability. Please get back to the writers with names and their stories as soon as possible.
