#MeetTheTeam: Division Three Men
This year, we are starting a #MeetTheTeam series. Every month we’ll introduce you to a couple of our teams that take the turf every 2021 Winter weekend to battle it out for the win. This month’s team is the… AISC Division Three Men.

Namaste to all members, supporters, friends and family of the AISC community from the 2021 D3 men’s hockey team.
Our aim is to go out and play hard but fair hockey, have fun along the way and all whilst still making a strong bid to bring the championship home and building lifelong connections within the group.
This year sees the D3 team have a mixture of experienced seasoned heads, those looking to play a competitive brand of hockey whilst still learning some of the finer points of the game and looking at honing their skills.
The 2021 season has seen us lose some valuable youth to higher grades (which we are so proud of) but also regain some members who just needed a little time away from the game to either recover from injuries or until that passion started stirring again.
Taking this into account the team has had some ups and downs in the season so far, but we are tracking well to force our way into the playoffs and shake things up come seasons end. There have been some strong performances since the start of the competition with more consistency over the last month which has helped us to ensure we achieve this goal.
The core of the team consists of the following members who all offer something unique and are as follows,
Amit Chhima, Anand Mitha, Bharat Parbhoo, Hetal Patel, Jayant Bhana, Jayce Dahya, Manoj Patel (C),
Manoj Chhima, Naresh Ravji, Nilesh Bhula, Niran Iswar, Paresh Vallabh, Ranesh Parmar, Rupesh Patel,
Sanjai Patel, Sandeep Jeram, Hitesh Patel, Chiman Kesry(super Ref), Mahesh Patel and Dharmesh Patel.
The following have kindly agreed to help when we are low in numbers and are also vital to our progress,
Nekesh Parbhoo, Prashant Patel, Naresh Patel, Rohan Patel, Ronit Patel and Raju Bhana.
A special mention to Daven Naidu, Dinesh Patel, Sajay Chhima, Raj Pancha and Sunil Patel who all had the best of intentions to play this season but due to injuries and other commitments have only managed to be on the side-lines.
