Seniors Sign Off
Most of our Seniors signed off for the season before the country was forced back into their bubbles as a result of the latest COVID-19 outbreak.
This year we had six senior teams registered in the Auckland Hockey competition - Premier Men, Reserve Men, Division One Men, Division Two Men, Division Three Men and Division Three Women.
All our men’s teams have officially signed off for the season, having played their last game for the year the weekend before lockdown hit.
Our ladies team were so close to the finish line, with one game remaining - their chance at a spot for first place! We are crossing our fingers our ladies will get to play in their grade’s final before the year ends. Keep an eye out on our website and social media for more info.
Despite our ladies final being put on hold for the time being, it has been great to get back onto the turf without disruption of a lockdown in-between.
Well done to all our AISC players who have competed this year and we look forward to seeing you all back on the turf next season!
And a special mention to the Division Three women’s team who have been undefeated this season, put away a whopping 101 goals and secured a place in the final- well done ladies!
