Dilip Parbhu - Over 60’s NZ Cricket

Congratulations to Dilip for making the Over 60’s New Zealand team to travel to Brisbane this year.

Ever since he came to New Zealand has had one ambition, to represent his adopted country. As the years rolled by, and with no interest shown by the various selectors over the years, he had the good fortune to be selected for the Auckland Over 60’s tournament in Christchurch. From this tournament last week, he caught the selectors eyes, and he himself admits, probably not the best bowler there, never the less got selected the Over 60’s NZ Cricket team to tour Brisbane later this year.

Dilip has been a Club stalwart for over 30 years and is a past Vice-President for Cricket for longer than any of the present administration can remember. We wish him luck!
